So I just wanted to put this here to reflect on my activity not only on DeviantArt but in Roleplay groups in general. I'm in a place in my life where I'd say I am doing really well, all things considered. My financial situation is stable, my mental health is in check, my physical health is great, and my social life is blossoming. I have a really cool job, I am practicing so much self-control and maturity, I go to the gym regularly, and I see friends almost on a daily/weekly basis. Thanks to a more regimented lifestyle using a color-coded calendar rather than relying solely on lists, I see my life with so much more clarity.
That being said, this new lifestyle has left little time for video games (outside League of Legends, which overlays as a part of my socializing time as I play almost exclusively with friends) and art/RP groups. And while it makes me sad that I have not been as active as I wish I could be, I don't see myself sacrificing any other time out of my day to fix that. There are just other things in my life that are taking priority and art/RP is unfortunately just sitting on the back burner. For how long? I don't know. I want to stay in my groups (the 2) but I also don't want to promise that I'll be present when I am very clearly not.
I have no solutions for this problem yet, so I leave you here with a sort of cliff hanger. I might be back, but I also might not. You can always catch me on Discord if you need me.

I'm leaving DeviantArt and art-based RP groups in general altogether (though Harvest-Lunatone is an... interesting case for which I'm still in the midst of figuring out..)
But for everything else, I am dropping and separating myself from this part of my life. DeviantArt and RP groups have been in my life for nearly 7 years. That's wild...
I will still have my discord (daps101#4041) so if you want to stay in contact this is the best way. I will still run the Tabletop Sandbox/aLitD/etc.
I still love RP and would be open to private, or non-DA-group related RP groups among friends, but otherwise this is good-bye.
Thank you to everyone that has made a positive impact on my life. Internet friends sounds like such a strange concept but truly you've changed my life. Thank you so much, you know who you are.

I saw ShroomingThoughts do this and I like to fill things out so here it goesssss
it's pretty much questions about my gender idk --
1. How do you self-identify your gender, and what does that definition mean to you?
Cis-Male. It means I was born biologically a male and I identify as a male.
2. What pronouns honor you?
He/Him/His
3. Describe the style of clothing that you most often wear.
Jeans, Khakis, Sweatpants, T-Shirts, Tank tops, Shorts, Athletic wear, running shoes, flat shoes (converse), I like light sweatshirts compared to heavy ones and fall jackets. Sometimes a hat.
4. Talk about your choices with body hair. How do you style your hair? Do you have facial hair? What do you choose to shave, or choose not to shave?
I shave facial hair whenever I feel like it becomes necessary and I don't bother with eyebrows. Whereas other bodily hair... typically down under like 4 times a year?? Idk whenever it gets annoying, typically at the start of each season is how I mark it. Razor heads are expensive and I refuse to touch a razor head to my face if it has been down there so I don't want to just use/waste them on a regular basis.
5. Talk about cosmetics. Do you choose to wear makeup? Do you paint your nails? What types of soaps and perfumes do you use if any?
Nope. Nope. Nope. Soaps... ummm. I mean I like the fruit and coconut smelling ones but I typically buy whatever is cheapest? And for like... toiletries, I usually get Irish Spring or Old Spice.
6. Have you experienced being misgendered? If so, how often?
No.
7. Do you experience dysphoria? How does that affect you?
Do I feel dissatisfied with life? Not so much anymore. Had you asked a year ago, I would have told you 200% yes, very much so. Even just 5 months ago I would have described my life situation to be most discomforting. But I'm blessed to have such great support and resources here at my university and I'm doing a lot better. I do have my bad days, but I'd say I'm doing fantastic in comparison.
8. Talk about children. Are you interested in having children? Would you want to carry a child if that were an option for you? Do you want to be the primary caretaker for any children you may have?
Eventually....maybe? I mean, having a child of my blood would be neat but it's definitely not a reality I need or crave. Have children in general seems like a fulfilling ideal and I love kids and I think I'd make a great parent but I just don't know if I want kids now and who am I to say that I want them in the future?
9. Talk about money. Is it important to you to provide for a family financially if you choose to have one? Is it important to you that you earn more than any partner you may have? Do you prefer to pay for things like dates? Are you uncomfortable when others pay for you or offer to pay for you?
Yes, of course. Not particularly-- considering my career field I'd hope my partner makes more than me aha. I do like to pay for dates and food. I just like to pay for things in general--especially so in gift giving. I don't if people pay for me, I take it graciously but I do offer to pay when I can.
10. Anything else you want to share about your experience with gender?
I'm gay but that doesn't really affect anything in my life other than my sexual expression--it doesn't affect my clothing, or my interests, as it shouldn't.

yeah I'm not good at titles so lemme explain myself--
Ive found out recently that I enjoy this "assisted story-telling" thing a lot more compared to plain RP. Maybe it's just because I'm tired of the old, join a group and RP with people concept. It gets bland, yknow? So before I go asking for people to join me you're probably thinking "what the fuck is 'assisted story-telling.'" I'm sorry, I don't know what else to call it. It's still roleplay but in a different format, one like Dungeons and Dragons. Now, I've never played DnD but I know it is heavily story based on allows players to explore a campaign, world, people, history, etc etc. So play along with me for a bit.
Think about creating a character and exploring an expanse, ever-changing world with friend(s). Exploring a world as your characters interact and grow. A private RP experience that creates amazing stories and art.
Yeah? Did that work? Alright, well lemme dig deeper. This could apply to any universe or setting. Traditionally, speaking of DnD, this would happen in some fantasy world that someone creates, and I'm cool with that. I love world building. But this can happen in any case, you like the Avatar universe? We can do that. Pokemon? Absolutely. You name it and it can happen. It just means that we follow that universe's rules meaning setting, culture, etc-- of course, being able to take creative liberties as well.
For example: If the interest falls under Pokemon, we can all create characters and then I, or someone else who wants to and is confident in their narrative skills, will start the story. I, or whoever, will be the "Dungeon Master" or the "Narrator" moving the story along as the "Players," or whoever else is involved, want. The Narrator starts with an exposition post for the players to get started with, the narrator throwing in their own characters to interact. It's up to the players to play out the story! Say the narrator mentions that the route splits into a fork. The direction the players go is up to them and the narrator builds the story around that!
It's created on the whim, it's private, it can last months or be as short as a week! And with the Narrator position changing, the stories to be told are limitless, unpredictable, and fun every time.
I know I have virtually no followers, and more than half of them stopped using DA 6mo ago but if you're interested or have friends who would be interested let me know!! We can work the details out as we congregate. I've been doing this kind of RP with singular friends on and off for the past year and I really love it so much and I would love to share this with the world! So please!! If interested, let me know!

Its origins come from an idea where I would become a PokeTuber and what my "mascot" would be and I picked Chandelure (of course) but THAT never happened lol but the name stuck.
